The Department of Electronics, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), is organising a two-day National workshop on “Advancements in Electro-acoustic measurements” on Sept. 24 and 25 for Audiologists and other professionals working in the area of Hearing Aids.
The workshop covers (a) technological advancements in sound level meters — new features & their applications, (b) recent developments in electro-acoustic measurements, (c) recent revisions in hearing aid measurement standards and (d) hands on training on advanced sound level meters and electro-acoustic measurements.
Jens Karasawa Christensen, Product Manager, Bruel & Kjaer (B & K), Denmark, will be the Resource Person. Bruel & Kjaer, the global competence centre for sound and vibration, is the solution provider to all leading institutions across the world, who care about sound and vibration.
Dr. V. Rajendran, President of Acoustic Society of India (ASI), will inaugurate the workshop at 9.15 am on Sept. 24 and deliver a keynote address on the topic “Milestones in the field of Acoustics in India.” Dr. S.R. Savithri, Director, AIISH, will preside.
Prof. Ajish K. Abraham will be the facilitator of the workshop.
