“The quality of Ayurveda treatment must be maintained while promoting it,” observed Ramakrishna Ashram’s Swami Muktidanandaji who was speaking after inaugurating the cancer centre and free dental check-up camp at the Govt. Ayurveda Medical College here recently.
“Our ancestors have discovered the medicinal qualities in herbal plants. The Indian system of medicine is based on natural elements, with medicinal plants playing a key role in maintaining our health. Besides, Ayurveda has of late earned name and fame throughout the world,” he said.
Two e-books namely “Compendium on Aturopa Karma” and “Compendium on Kaala” brought out by the college’s Darshana Vidyarthi Sangha were released on the occasion.
MLA Vasu, College Principal Dr. Sathyanarayana Bhat, Ayurveda Practitioner Dr. J. Vivek and others were present.
