Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) under Viveka Scholar Programme (Vidyakiran) will be conducting free coaching classes for students from poor families who have passed SSLC scoring more than 70 percent marks.
The coaching classes will be conducted in Science and Commerce subject for students joining I PUC. Till now, around 282 students have been benefitted by the programme. Students who have scored more than 70 percent marks, studying Science or Commerce subjects at Government Colleges in Mysore and from poor family background are eligible to apply.
The candidates will be selected through entrance exam according to SSLC syllabus and 50 percent of the total marks scored in SSLC will be considered during the selection process. The last date for registration is May 30.
