Mysore, Feb. 20 (KK&KMC) – K.R. Circle, the central point of the City, will be closed for traffic movement from the night of Sunday (Feb. 21) for a couple of days’ time in view of the construction of subways across the three roads leading up to the Circle; the works scheduled to commence from Monday onwards (Feb. 22).
A spot inspection was conducted by Traffic ACP Shankare Gowda, MCC Superintending Engineer Mahesh and Assistant Commissioner (Zonal) E. Thimmappa at noon today.
Thimmappa told Star of Mysore that the three subways, each costing Rs. One crore, will be constructed using the latest design, keeping in mind the heritage value of the city.
Following the spot inspection, The Traffic ACP held discussions with the DC P. Manivannan.
