The fourth edition of ‘Spot the Talent’, the annual training programme for high school children, commenced this week at SPI. This fun and educative programme gives the students an insight into the world of Information Technology.

An aptitude test was conducted in nine schools in the city to select the students for this programme. During these two weeks of training, the students are being trained in basic softwares and programming languages like HTML, Java, OOPS etc. They will also participate in soft skills workshops. This programme gives the students an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and work on challenging assignments.

The schools that participated in Spot the Talent-2013 are: Acharya Vidya Kula, CFTRI School, Demonstration School (DMS), Excel Public School, Ideal Jawa Rotary High School, Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan, Manasarowar Pushkarini Vidyashram, St. Joseph’s Central School and St. Joseph’s High School (State).

Inaugurating the programme, Girish Karunakaran, President, Eurasia, advised the students to develop an inquisitive mind and ask questions to learn more.
