Leader of the Opposition Siddharamaiah, who flew back to the city yesterday night after a hectic week-long stay in Delhi, was admitted to K.C. General Hospital here today after he complained of stomach ache.

It is reported that Siddharamaiah had complained of acute stomach ache at his Kumara Park residence following which a battery of doctors led by Cardiologist Dr. Ravikumar of K.C. General Hospital rushed to Siddharamaiah’s house and conducted all necessary tests before shifting him to the hospital in Malleshwaram.

The team of doctors, who opined that the Congress leader was suffering from gastritis following his hectic schedule, advised him to take rest for a few days.

Earlier, a large number of dignitaries, cutting across party lines, including Congress leader C.M. Ibrahim called on Siddharamaiah at his residence and wished him a speedy recovery.
