Mysore, Oct. 2 (KCU)- City Police Commissioner Sunil Agarwal, in a press release, has indicated the following traffic regulations on various roads in city valid from Oct. 8 to 17 in view of Dasara festival.

The roads around the Mysore Palace, namely B.N Road, A.V. Road, New Sayyaji Rao Road and Chamaraja Road passing through Hardinge Circle, JSS Circle, Pathashala Circle and K.R Circle will carry traffic moving only in anti-clockwise direction keeping Palace as the Centre of the Circle.

Vehicles can move in one-way only from KR Circle through Sayyaji Rao Road towards Ayurvedic Circle, East towards Irwin Road, Ashoka Road, Mahaveer Circle and Old Statue Square. Movement permitted one-way from east to west on Lokaranjan Road from Lingaiah Circle to Karanji Lake junction. Vehicles can move one-way from South to North on Banumaiah Road from Chamaraja Double Road junction to Banumaiah square. All vehicular traffic will be banned from 8 am to 10 pm on Oct. 17 on the Dasara procession route starting from Palace Balarama gate, AV Road, KR Circle, Sayyaji Rao Road, Bamboo Bazaar, Highway circle, Nelson Mandela Road till the main entrance of torch light Parade grounds in Bannimantap.

On the days of programmes to be held as part of Dasara at Maharaja's college grounds, vehicular traffic will be banned from 4 pm to 11 pm on Krisharaja Boulevard infront of the grounds from Ekalvya Circle to Koutilya Circle.

On the days of programmes to be held at Open Air Theatre in Manasagangotri, vehicular traffic will be banned from Senate Bhavan Road junction to Bogadi Road junction from 4 pm to 11 pm.
