The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) has launched a ‘Centre for Rehabilitation and Education through Distance Mode’ (CREDM) in 2008 to reach out to persons with communication disorders who cannot access the services of the institute due to geographical constraints.

CREDM has successfully developed clinical services for persons with speech, language and hearing disorders. With a view to explore the scope of this venture, CREDM is organising a ‘National Seminar on Tele-assessment and Tele-intervention for Persons with Communication Disorders’ on Feb. 21 and 22 at the Seminar Hall, AIISH.

V.V. Bhat, Secretary to Govt. of India & Member (Finance), Space Commission/Atomic Energy Commission, Bangalore, will inaugurate. Dr. N. Rathna, former Director, AIISH, will deliver the keynote address.

Eminent personalities from the fields of speech, language, hearing and information and communication technology (ICT) will deliver lectures and participate in panel discussions.
