Mysore, July 16 (NCS)- Sri Krishna Gana Sabha has organised music concerts on July 17 and 18 at 6 pm at Alwar Kala Bhavan in Sri Krishna temple premises, Gokulam III Stage.
Vidushi Sthita Dinakar will present a Sugama Sangeetha programme tomorrow, accompanied by Vid.Sriram Bhat on harmonium and Vid.Indusekher on tabla. The programme is sponsored by S. Dinakar in memory of late T.G.Vijayalakshmi.

Sthita Dinakar, aged about 17 years, is an upcoming artiste. She started learning Hindustani classical music from the age of 7. She has passed junior exam in Hindustani classical music conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Board.
She started giving concerts from the age of 12. For the past 9 years, she is learning Hindustani classical music. She was successful in the audition conducted by All India Radio in the category of Devaranama. At present she is being trained by Ustad Fayaz Khan, a renowned Hindustani classical musician. He is also a well-known sarangi player and tabla artiste.
July 18: Vidushi Ashwini Sathish will present a vocal recital in the Memorial Music Concert programme on July 18, accompanied by Vidu. Veena Suresh on violin, Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on mridangam and Vid. V.S.Ramesh on ghatam. The programme is sponsored by Vinodamma and Narayan Swamy in memory of their eldest son.

Ashwini Satish has been learning Karnatak music from the age of 6. Her mentors in music are Vidu. Chitkala, Vid. H.S. Nagaraj and Vidu.Sukanya Prabhakar. She is presently undergoing advanced training from Ganakala Shree Vidu. Dr. T.S.Satyavathi.
She had received HRD Scholarship for 2 years by the Department of Culture, New Delhi. She is B-high graded artiste of AIR Bangalore. A gold medalist of Mysore University in M.Music, she has been awarded Ananya Kala Pratibhe by Annanya Sangeetha Sabha, Bangalore. She has won many prizes in competitions conducted by South Zone Cultural Centre, Nada Saba, Shimoga, Sangeetha Bharathi, Kundapur, etc.
Ashwini Satish is teaching Karnatak music and has written articles for music magazines.
She has given performances at all the well-known sabhas of Bangalore, Mysore, Mumbai, Tirupathi, Chennai. She has also been to United Kingdom to give music concerts.
