Be it imitation jewellery, Khadi products, Silk products, dry fruits, footwear, jute, vanity and Banjara bags, honey, fitness equipments, handicrafts and other Khadi related products, all of them will be put on display and sale at the 15-day Khadi Mela organised by Karnataka State Khadi and Village Industries Board and the Department of Industries and Commerce at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry in city.

During the Mela to be inaugurated by District In-Charge Minister V. Sreenivasa Prasad at 4 pm today, Khadi products manufactured by Khadi Gramodyog Mandalis, who are beneficiaries of various schemes sponsored by the Board, will be displayed till Nov. 3.

While Silk Khadi products manufactured by Babitha Khadi Gram Udyoga Society of Chikkaballapur will be sold at a discount of 25%, Cotton products manufactured by the same society will be sold at a discount of 35%.

Many Khadi Gramodhyoga Societies from Kolar, Nanjangud and other places in Karnataka and Hyderabad will showcase their products at about 45 stalls put up at the expo which will be open from 10 am to 9.30 pm on all the 15 days.
