A grand laser show titled ‘Karnataka Vaibhava’ depicting the history of Karnataka over centuries on art, culture, tradition and heritage presented at the Srirangapatna Dasara at the temple town yesterday stole the limelight.

The show, besides presenting attractive formations on the achievements of the erstwhile rulers of Mysore Kingdom, also exhibited the bravery of Vijayanagar rulers and other dynasties.

The attractive laser show produced by the Dept. of Information and designed by director N.R.Vishu Kumar, laser creations of Aloor Venkatrao, A.N. Krishna Murthy, V.K.Gokak who fought for unification of Karnataka, CM’s who ruled Karnataka, Scientists and freedom fighters were presented.

Laser presentations on tourist spots, achievement of the State in the field of IT featured in the show. Audience went into a frenzy when a laser dance ‘Huttidare Kannadanadal Huttabeku’ was presented. Deputy Director of the Department of Information Lakshminarayan was among those present.
