The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) exam for the recruitment of Excise Sub-Inspectors was held in city today.

A total of 10,792 candidates are appearing for the exam in 18 centres across the city including Maharani’s, Mahajana, Chinmaya, Banumaiah and Mathrumandali Colleges apart from SDM College for Women.

The exam was conducted in two sessions with morning session from 10 am to 1 pm (150 marks) and afternoon session from 2 pm to 3 pm (50 marks).

The morning session paper was a descriptive one and the afternoon paper was on general studies.

Tight Police security was provided around all the exam centres in the city, with prohibitory orders imposed around 200 mts. area around all centres.
