Mysore, July 9 (RK&DM)- The Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology Unit set up in K.R. Hospital premises is scheduled to function from Aug. 12.

Hectic preparations are on for the Cardiology unit at the left portion of the ground floor of the new IPD-OPD mulitistoreyed building.

The Unit mainly comprises ICU, Echo-cardiology, laboratory, special and semi-special wards and lifts. Dr. C.N. Manjunath, Director, Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore, has made frequent visits to K.R. Hospital and lent appropriate guidance on the unit's design and infrastructure. The Unit will be open for heart patients from Aug. 12.
