Rotary Club of Mysore West, an institution that is serving the community through various avenues of services and which has also taken up task of providing quality education through Schools at Saraswathipuram and at Kanakadasanagar and Nursery Section at Saraswathipuram, is all set to inaugurate its PU College — Rotary West Susheela Satishchandra PU College— at Kanakadasa Nagar here.

MLA Vasu will inaugurate the college tomorrow at 11 am.

Susheela Satishchandra and Satish P. Chandra will be the chief guests. Rtn. B.M. Chengappa and Rtn. V.N. Prasad, President, Rotary West, will be the guests of honour.

Rtn. Sunil L. Baliga will preside over the inaugural function.

Rotary West was able to get two international matching grants which were sanctioned by Rotary Foundation to equip labs, furnish classrooms and to construct toilet blocks.

The college is offering Science and Commerce combinations. Admission to both the streams are taking place.

K. Ramchandra Murthy who was working with BASE will be the Principal of the College.

The college has tied up with BASE educational services, Bangalore, so that the students can concentrate on their studies and avoid going to tuitions. Preparing the students to face PU final examination, CET and other competitive examination start from the first PUC course itself.
