Mysore, Feb. 25 (KVV)- CM's Parliamentary Secretary S.A. Ramdas has urged the Commissioner of Mysore City Corporation (MCC) to drop the name of MLC K.V. Narayanaswamy from the voters list of Mayoral election as the District Commissioner of Mysore District has informed that he is a nodal representative of Mysore taluk and is not eligible to become a member of Mysore City Corporation and Mysore Urban Development Authority.

In a letter written to the Commissioner of Mysore City Corporation, Ramdas has said that Narayanaswamy has given his address declaration in the revised voters list of 217-Chamaraja General Assembly Constituency as Door No. 1790/D, 10th Main Road, 2nd Stage, Vijayanagar, Mysore.

Ramdas claimed that there is only Narayanaswamy’s name in the declaration. It does not contain the names of his family members. An enquiry report has also thrown up the fact that Narayana-swamy was not residing at the said add-ress. He had also not furnished any documentary evidence of his address proof.

Ramdas has urged the MCC Commissioner that in these circumstances the Commissioner should drop Narayanaswamy's name from voters list for Mayoral elections scheduled to be held tomorrow.
