Mysore, Nov. 2 (KK&KMC)- A unique batch of tourists comprising 30 couples – four from Australia, two from New Zealand and the rest from United Kingdom – arrived in City in as many white Ambassador Classic cars, from Cochin on Sunday evening.
They stayed for two nights at the Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel in city and visited places of tourist interest in the city. They tourists today left for the ancient Sri Chennakeshava temple in Somanathapur. They will then go to Bandipur, from where they will return to Cochin.
The Mysore tour, organised by London-based Classic Journeys, is the fourth in the series of Classic India Tour. During the tour, the entourage is accompanied by a jeep carrying spare tyres, spare parts and tools.
Under the tour package, tourists are offered choices of various popular tourist-destinations within India and elsewhere.
