Tejaswini, a 4th semester student of Computer Science Department, Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET), has been selected as Google Ambassador for the year 2013-14.
Out of thousands of nominations across India, 270 students were selected. The participants went through several rounds of interviews before selection, wherein, passion for technology and their multi-talented skills were tested.
The Student Ambassador will serve as a link between the Institution and Google and coordinate events on campus. Tejaswini will be attending a four-day induction programme at Goa, sponsored by the company.
About Tejaswini, VVIET Google Ambassador: As an all rounder, Tejaswini has been outstanding in academics and also as NCC Cadet. She has won several sports, dance and music competitions. Recently her team won the first prize at the State-level cultural festival in Mangalore.
