The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysore Zone, had organised an interactive session on ‘Recent Developments in Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Act’ at Larsen & Toubro (L&T) campus here recently.

The session was initiated by Human Resource Development & Total Wellness Management Panel. The programme was chaired by Navin Kumar Kanaujia, Regional PF Commissioner, Mysore EPFO.

More than 80 members from various industries working in HR, Administration, Finance & Accounts attended the interaction which provided an opportunity for the participants to understand the recent developments in EPF Act and seek clarification from the Regional PF Commissioner on issues of concern / recommendations from industries.

The Regional PF Commissioner who gave a presentation, briefed about the fundamental features of the enactment. He also gave information about coverage of international workers under the Act, submission of returns and claims online.

Jagadish, Vice-President CII, Mysore Zone and Director, Kluber Lubrication India (P) Ltd, Ravindra Bhakta, General Manager, L&T, Mysore were present at the inaugural session. K.
