Mysore, May 23 (SH)- Results of CET-2010 were announced last afternoon. Two students of Mysore city have bagged two ranks — D. Giridhar of Sadvidya Pre-University College has secured 2nd rank and K.V. Srinidhi 7th rank in Engineering.
Son of V.K. Ganesh (senior officer in Tobacco Board) and Usha, residents of Railway Layout in Vijayanagar, Giridhar is keen on studying for engineering degree in either mechanical or electrical division at the Indian Institute of Technology.
Giridhar disclosed to media persons that he was expecting either first or the second rank. "I have secured rank as per my expectation", he said.
His classmate Srinidhi, who secured seventh rank, is the son of K.V. Venkateshmurthy and S. Nagarathna, residents of Gokulam third stage. He aims to study engineering in physics from IIT.
Srinidhi said he secured high marks just by going through old question papers.
Milan Mallinath, also a student of Sadvidya PU College, has secured 4th rank in Architecture.
