The inauguration of Canara Bank branch and an ATM along with Rural Outreach programme will be held at Gungralchatra in Yelwal Hobli here on June 28 at 9.05 am in the presence of R.K. Dubey, Chairman and Managing Director of Canara Bank.

Deputy Governor of RBI Dr. K. C. Chakrabarty will inaugurate the branch. Dr. Urjit R. Patel, Deputy Governor of RBI and MLA G.T. Devegowda will be the chief guests. Dr. S.T. Ramachandra, Circle Head, Mysore Circle and M.S.Chiranjeevi, Branch Manager of Gungralchatra branch will be present.

As part of Rural Outreach Programme, various activities like opening of basic Savings Bank account, credit facilities to farmers, villagers, SHG members, distribution of saplings, forming Farmers Club and joint liability groups are arranged. SHG members and entrepreneurs of Canara Bank will display and market their products.
