Various Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of the district exhibited their products at the ‘Halli Santhe’ fair organised by Canara Bank at its Main Branch premises in Nazarbad here recently.

Many women’s organisations from Mysore, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts, which are conducting business after availing loans from various branches of Canara Bank, exhibited their products at the Santhe.

Canara Bank Chairman & Managing Director R.K. Dubey inaugurated the Santhe and distributed certificates to organisations after viewing their products. Decorative items, metal statues, handloom and handicraft products, leather bags, products made from arecanut leaves etc., were on display.

On the occasion, coins of Rs. 2, Rs. 5 and currency notes of Rs. 10 denominations were distributed to customers.

Canara Bank DGM B. Sambi Reddy, AGM A.K. Sahu, Officer J.V. Venugopal and staff were present.
