The new ATM of Canara Bank near Sri Rajarajeshwari Guest House, atop Chamundi Hill, was inaugurated by R.K. Dubey, Chairman and Managing Director, Canara Bank yesterday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the ATM was inaugurated in order to help devotees who come from faraway places to the temple.
Dubey also launched the e-Lounge and CSR facility at Canara Bank, Jayalakshmipuram Branch.
The e-Lounge has 2 ATMs through which the customers can withdraw money from their account. This apart, there are also facilities for depositing money, Pass Book Entry, Cheque Collection and online share trading.
The bank also donated a school van worth Rs. 9 lakh to Divya Jyothi Trust for Blinds.
Canara Bank also inaugurated its new premises of NRI Branch at The Royal Crown on Ashoka Road at Lashkar Mohalla. K.V.Suresh, Manjunath and Rafiq Ahmed, customers of the bank from the past 20 years were felicitated on the occasion. Later, the bank handed over a cheque of Rs. 10 lakh as housing loan to Mohammed Zabiullah.
Dr. S.T. Ramachandra, Deputy General Manager, Circle Office, Mysore, Chief Manager S.S. Bhat and others were present on the occasion.
