Mysore, Feb. 26- Publications brought out by Prasaranga of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) were released in a function at Tungabhadra Hall of the University here on Thursday by Prof. M.M. Kalburgi, retired Vice-Chancellor, Karnatak University, Dharwad. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed admiration for the achievement by the publication wing of the Open University in a short span of two years.

Retired Vice-Chancellor of University of Mysore Prof. D. Javaregowda was felicitated in the function on his being conferred the Karnataka Ratna.

Selected writings of late Dr. H.S. Krishnaswamy Iyengar (HSK) edited by G.S. Bhat; Venkat Rao's Judge's Memoirs translated by N.S. Sharada Prasad; J.H. Narayanaswamy's Lohia; S.M. Krishna Rao's Literature and Reality; Dr. H.D. Prashanth's Universalisation of School Education: Dalit Children's condition; Dr. N.S. Hegde's Modern Genetics; Prof. Sudhakara's Bithane-Harthane; Jayachandraraj Urs' Ghattada Kore Kalavida: Basavaraja Ursu; Dr. H.S. Mohan's Kannu: Olanota; Dr. I.N. Doreyappagowda's Hannu Mattu Tarakarigala Samrakshane were released. Prof. K.S. Rangappa, Vice-Chancellor, KSOU, Prof. D.K. Rajendra, Prasaranga Head, K.R. Jayaprakash and Dr. Anitha were present at the function.
