Dasara exhibition is another major attraction during Mysore Dasara. Mysore Dasara exhibition is held on Dasara exhibition grounds, opposite the Mysore Palace.
Maharaja of Mysore Chamaraja Wodeyar X started the Dasara exhibition in 1880 with the aim of introducing timely developments to the people of Mysore. Now Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) is entrusted with holding the exhibition every year.
Various stalls which sell items like clothes, plastic items, kitchenware, cosmetics, and eatables are set up and they attract a significant number of people. A play area containing attractions like a Ferris wheel is also present to provide entertainment to the people. Various Governmental agencies set up stalls to signify the achievements and projects that they have undertaken.
The Mysore Dasara 2024 Exhibition will begin on 3rd of October 2024 and will be held for 90 days. There will be at least 45 different kinds of amusement items and games, specially designed for children.
The entry fee to the exhibition will be Rs. 50 per person.
