Prof. M.G. Krishnan took over as the Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) here this morning.
He was accorded a grand welcome at KSOU campus by Registrar B.S. Vishwanath along with Dean T.D. Devegowda, Registrar (Evaluation) Dr. Suresh, Prasaranga Director B.K. Rajendra and Academic Dean Vikram Raje Urs.
Prof. Krishnan, who was the Registrar of Bangalore University, now replaces Prof. K.S. Rangappa who has been transfe-rred as Vice-Chancellor of Mysore University.
Speaking to Star of Mysore, Prof. Krishnan said he would follow up the development activities providing access for higher education to all.
