Mysore, June 15 (HT&KMC)- Top scoring students in the SSLC and PUC exams held recently were presented with awards at a function held under the aegis of The Mysore Merchants Co-operative Bank at Hotel Guru Residency in city yesterday. The awardees, 20 in number, are children of the Bank's members.
Bank's General Manager C.E. Naidu, addressing the gathering, said that the awards to students were being presented since the past nine years. The Bank also offers educational loan to students at 6 per cent interest, he said.
SSLC top-scorers who received the awards are: N. Pavan Kumar, M.S. Bhuvan, B. Pavan, R. Yashaswini, M.K. Pooja, K. Dhanush, Neethu Vishwanath, Sonali Nandeesh, A. Ashvini Shashank, S. Kanchana, P. Mahadesh, P.N. Ganesh, G. Savanth, P. Jayalakshmi, M. Divyaprasad, U. Suchitha Das and R. Vignesh.
Second PUC top-scorers who received the awards are: R. Nithin, N. Supradeep, Bimal Mahesh, Vanitha Yogesh, G. Mohammed Abdullah, V. Kiran, Anup B. Mehta, G. Shalini, Komal Goel, R. Akshatha, K. Gokul, Sugama Suhasini, N. Kavya, P. Moulya, R. Vivek, R. Rohith, N. Bhavana, S. Gayathri, S. Suraksha and Pavan.
Young sports achievers Sanjana Srinivas (skating), Abhishek (karate) and Priyanka (swimming), along with a young lad with remarkable memory named Rahul, son of Manjunath, a bank employee, were also felicitated.
Journalist Rajashekhar Koti and Prof. M. Krishnegowda were felicitated on the occasion by Bank President R. Vijayashekhar. Bank's Vice-President B. Kodandaram, Directors B.R. Nandish, N. Nagaraj, Venkatachalam, Sumana, N. Yeshoda, A. Ramesh Kumar and others were present.
