The Flybus service connecting Mysore with the Bangalore International Airport (BIA), provided by the KSRTC, will be flagged off at the BIA at 9.30 pm today.
The Flybus service, plying twice a day, will depart from BIA at 9.45 am and 9.45 pm. It would reach Mysore at 1.45 pm and 1.30 am respectively. From Mysore, the buses will depart from the Sub-Urban Bus Stand at 2 pm and 2 am to reach BIA at 6 pm and 5.45 am respectively, said B.V. Srinivas, Divisional Controller, KSRTC (Mysore rural).
“The fare is Rs. 1,000 per head, said Srinvas and added that in Mysore, connecting buses to the Flybus will be provided from various corners of the city, which of course, will cost extra.
The air-conditioned multi-axle coach will have individual televisions (with remote controls) offering over 70 live channels, mobile chargers, chemical toilet, pantry, video-on-demand through Wi-Fi and display of real-time arrival and departure of flights at BIA. It is also equipped with Global Positioning System through which the location of the bus can be tracked.
