Mysore, June 9-About 960 students from more than 100 educational institutions in city have graduated from the Zoo Youth Club since its inception in 1993.

In all, sixty members are enrolled to the Youth Club in the age group of 12 to 18 years and the activities will be held on Sundays for about 25 weeks between 9.30 am and 1.30 pm commencing from June to December. The members are given T-shirt, cap, bag, ID and study materials.

The training includes practical, theory and field visits within that time. The children learn a lot about the functioning of Zoo, behaviour of animals and birds, their pedigree, eating pattern, living style and other information that are quite essential for them to update their knowledge.
