A day after an enthralling performance by Shaan, the youth assembled at Maharaja College Grounds witnessed a smashing performance by noted Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan. Though, she reached late to the venue, it was worth the wait for the audience.

Sunidhi, who is known for her rocking performances, started off with Dhoom Machale... from the movie Dhoom, to which the audience cheered by whistling and dancing. The venue was jam-packed with around 10,000 people. People who wanted to enter the venue were stopped at the back as the seats were full. The VIP and VVIP enclosures were filled up by around 7.30 pm, almost a couple of hours before Sunidhi’s performance.

Sunidhi continued her performance with Halkat Jawani... from the movie Heroine which starred Kareena Kapoor, then went on with another number Dance Pe Chance Maar Le... from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi staring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.

After three fast-paced numbers, she suddenly switched on to Ishq Sufiyana... from the movie Dirty Picture which mesmerised the crowd. Later, she sang songs Bin Tere... from I Hate Love Stories, Meri Love Life... from Shuddh Desi Romance, Tu Ainvi Ainvi Lut Gaya... from Band Baaja Baraat, Mind Blowing Mahiya... from the movie Cash, Desi Girl... from Dostana.

Mysoreans also got to witness Rakesh, who featured in Indian Idol. Rakesh entertained the audience with Ab Tum Hi Ho... from Aashiqui 2 and Tu Mera Hero... from Desi Boyz, Te Amo... from Dum Maro Dum and a retrograde number Badan Pe Sitare... from the movie Prince which starred Shammi Kapoor.

Later, Sunidhi was back with Kyon... from the movie Barfi, Be Intehaan... from

Race 2, Gun Guna Re... from Agneepath and her most popular Katrina Kaif starrer Sheela Ki Jawani... also from Agneepath.

She pleasantly surprised the crowd with the Kannada song ‘Jogayya...’ from the movie ‘Jogi’ which featured Shivarajkumar, after which she continued with title song from the Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and signed off with the sizzling number Bidi Jalaile... from Omkara. Sunidhi also danced with the audience and cheered. Prior to her concert, Lucia movie team entertained the audience with songs Ne Maye... Jamma Jamma... and Tin Bedakammi...

The event also included performances from teams selected from Yuva Sambhrama, a Bihu dance from Assamese artistes and an orchestra by a team from Kollegal, Chamarajanagar.

Today’s Yuva Dasara will feature performances by Anjana Padmanabhan, winner of ‘Indian Idol Junior’ reality show and playback singer Vijay Prakash of Slum Dog Millionaire fame.
