Mysore, June 15 (DM)- Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji inaugurated the first ATM (Any Time Milk) parlour in the city in front of the Mysore Dairy at Siddarthanagar by unveiling the stone plaque here yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Seer pointed out that milk is described in Rig Veda as Ambrosia. Milk as well as its derivative products protect us from many diseases and disorders. Besides, they offer glow and energy, thus enabling us to live a long and healthy life. The Mymul, apart from connecting cattle with consumers, is serving the public by producing and supplying quality milk and its products, which is praiseworthy, the Seer said.
The rural community should be complimented for their valuable contribution to the welfare of urban residents, he said while expressing happiness about Mymul achieving the record of collecting more than four lakh kgs of milk in a day.
Mayor Sandesh Swamy, who was the chief guest on the occasion, while congratulating the Mymul for its achievement, wished it more success in the future.

Mymul Executive Director Dr. H.c. Eshwar Prakash, who spoke on the occasion, informed that the public can purchase milk and its products from the ATM parlour at any point of time.
