Mysore, July 21 (KCU&RK)- Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has been implementing several projects in the city to provide better infrastructure for the benefit of the public. In that context, Ramakrishnanagar Circle will be developed attractively soon.

According to MUDA Zonal Officer Gurupadaswamy, in the first phase the Circle would be widened with a high-mast lamp coming at the centre. A Detailed Project Report (DPR) estimated to cost Rs. 25 lakh has been prepared in that context and a blue print too has been readied.

"The Circle connects to Ramakrishnanagar E and F block, Kuvempunagar, Sharadadevinagar and Dattagalli. Vishwamanava Double Road, Udayaravi Road and Chaduranga Road are also linked to the Circle. All the five approach roads will be widened and good bus bays will come up at the Circle. If everything is through, the Circle will emerge as the second biggest one after K.R. Circle," he said.

"It would smoothen the traffic flow and also beautify the place. The proposal will be put across at the MUDA general meeting to be held on July 24. After getting the clearance and government approval, the tender process will be completed through e-procurement to commence the work," says Gurupadaswamy.
