Mysore, June 13 (KK)- It was an unpleasant surprise for Kunal Ahluwalia, son of Paramjit Singh Ahluwalia & Junu couple, residents of Yadavagiri and a student of Sadvidya Composite PU College, Narayana Shastri Road —he had a mere 90 marks in II PU Sanskrit when he expected to get much more.
Kunal had secured 96 in Physics, 99 in Chemistry, 100 in Mathematics and 100 in Electrical Engineering. In English, he secured 93 and in Sanskrit only 90. This made him apply for revaluation and when he got the revised marks, he found to his relief that his marks in Sanskrit was 96, which is 6 marks more.
Kunal now has a total of 584 marks after revaluation. He is just one single mark less than the State's second best and District topper Aditya Anantharam, also from Sadvidya Composite PU College. Aditya secured 585.
Speaking to SOM this morning, Kunal said it was his dream to study at the University of Singapore’s Department of Electrical Engineering. He said he would have to take a tough preliminary test and interview to get a full scholarship to study at that University. Kunal does not have many hobbies and says that he loves reading books and journals on electrical engineering
Prof. K.V. Satyan, Principal, Sadvidya Composite PU College, has congratulated Kunal.
