In the wake of several aggrieved persons frequently visiting the District Police Office and complaining that their complaints lodged with respective Police Stations were not looked into properly and justice not meted out to them on time, the District Police Superintendent R. Dileep, in a press release, has given the following directive to all Police officers in the district.

The press release said, the complainant and counter-complainant should be simultaneously given a date to appear at the Police Station and hear to their grievances in a harmonious and legal way without any prejudice. On no count they should be unduly and unnecessarily summoned to the Police Station thus inconveniencing them, the release added.

Any negligence or laxity observed while dealing with a complaint, the concerned Police officer will be dealt with suitable disciplinary action of the department, the SP said.
