Bangalore, May 6 (KMS& KMC)- Prime Minister Dr. Man-mohan Singh is likely to inaugurate the Mandakali airport in Mysore and Mangalore Airport terminal on May 15.

According to sources in the Directorate of Civil Aviation in Delhi, both Oscar Fernandes and Veerappa Moily were trying to get the PM do the honours.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa had announced in Bangalore yesterday that Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel would officially inaugurate the Mandakalli Airport on May 15.

However, when SOM spoke to Moushmi Chakravarthy, Media Advisor to Aviation Minister in Delhi today, she said that nothing has been finalised yet and discussions were still going on. She also said they were not aware of any such move.

It is learnt that the State's airline operators are demanding tax holidays and fuel price concessions in order to commence flights from the Mysore airport.
