Mysore, May 30- As per the directive of the Election Commission of India, the Chief Election Commissioner has announced time schedule from June 1 to June 30 for distribution of photo election ID cards for those voters in the electoral list whose photographs have not been printed alongside their names in the electoral list.

The booth level officers attached to every booth will make a door-to-door visit from June 1 to June 10 and distribute 0001B Form to those voters whose photographs have not been printed in the electoral list.

The concerned voters are informed to paste their passport size photograph at the stipulated place in the issued form and return the form after signing it to the booth level officer before June 15.

Later on, action will be taken for issue of photo election ID cards to eligible voters.

The district administration has sought public co-operation for the programme by providing necessary information to the booth level officers when they visit them.
