Mysore, Apr. 28 (RK &KCU)- The Common Entrance Test (CET), a gateway for students aspiring career in engineering and medicine, conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, began this morning at 12 centres in city with 6,688 students vying for the rankings.
Today’s test would feature Biology and Mathematics in the morning and afternoon. Tomorrow it would be Physics and Chemistry.
The Police have arranged elaborate security at all the centers along with imposition of prohibitory order in the vicinity of 200 meters around each centre with forced closure of all photocopying shops during the test hours.
Deputy Director of PU Board K. Chandramma visited all the centres and conducted an inspection. Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. C.G. Betsurmath too took a round. Several parents were seen waiting near the centres to pick up their wards after the first session.
