A one-day seminar on Design Sensitisation organised by Mysore Industries Association (MIA) in asso ciation with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India and National Institute of Design was inaugurate by K. Ananthagowda, DGM (HR& Admin.), L&T, Mysore and Chairman National Institute of Personal Management, Mysore, at MIA premises in city this morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Ananthagowda stressed the need to implement design technologies while starting an industry, production, packaging and other departments.
He said that it was important for every industry to adopt design in order to successfully market, export and import the products.
Ananthagowda added that it was good to see Government and Industries Association coming together to organising such seminar and workshop to sensitise the industrialists.
Around 50 industrialists from Mysore and Nanjangud took part in the seminar.
Design Clinic Co-ordinator Prof. P. Achutha Rao, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) President A. Vijayendranath, MIA Vice-President D. Srinath, General Secretary Suresh Kumar Jain, Joint Secretary N. Srinath and Treasurer Byregowda were present on the occasion.
