Mysore, June 6 (SH)- The District Administration has appointed two officers to render all help to the passengers who were involved in the recent bus mishap in Nepal so that they can return to Mysore safely.

Dr. Vishakanta, Joint Director, Department of Agriculture and Reserve Police Sub-Inspector K.R. Raghu are at present in Nepal. They helped in performing the last rites of Vijayamma who lost her life in the mishap after obtaining consent from her relatives. They have also helped in bringing the injured passengers to Mysore.

Five passengers who were seriously injured are receiving medical attention at the hospital of Bharatpur Medical College. Sub-Inspector Raghu is camping in Bharatpur awaiting the recovery of the injured passengers, before bringing them to Mysore.

Renuka, Jayamma, Nagamma and Mahadevi, who have sustained severe injuries, are receiving medical attention. Shanthamma, Gowramma, Bhagyamma and Mariamma are staying at the hospital, taking care of the injured. Rajappa, Padma, Lakshamma, Puttamma, Putte Gowda, Lakshmi, Vinod and Vishalakshi are staying in a lodge and arrangements are being made for their train journey to Mysore.

Officers of the Government of Karnataka at New Delhi, officials working in the Indian Embassy in Nepal and local Police are extending co-operation in helping the victims, according to sources in Mysore District Administration.
