Mysore, June 17 (SH&RK)- The Directorate of Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services has set up MysoreOne Centres at the following locations for the benefit of public to remit electricity bills, to obtain passport application forms and cellone post paid bill payments:

1) Zone-6, Mysore City Corporation Office, Sheshadri Iyer Road, Mysore (Ph: 2421042).

2) Jayanagar Zone-2, MCC Office (Ph:2330042).

3) MUDA Complex, Siddharthanagar (Ph:2470046).

4) MUDA Complex, Ramakrishnanagar (Ph:2460727).

5) MUDA Complex, Gokulam (Ph:2411490).

It may be mentioned, District In-charge Minister Suresh Kumar had inaugurated the first Mysore One Service Centre on Seshadri Iyer Road on May 19.

These Service Centres will be manned by one Manager, three operators working in two shifts of 8 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 8 pm.

Public can access the services on all 365 days in the year, with no holidays.

In the coming months, BSNL landline and water bill services will also be functional, according to a press release.

Other services that are on the anvil are: City bus pass / concessional pass for students, sale of application and collection of initial deposits for site / house, collection of fees for new water connection, acceptance of application for change of name / dimension / purpose of water connection, collection of educational fee of schools and colleges, tourism services — city trips, issue of Dasara passes / cards, sale of application forms for various benefits, issue of khata and collection of property tax.

More centres if MUDA, MCC provide space

It is being contemplated to open more Centres of MysoreOne services in the city if Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and Mysore City Corporation (MCC) provide adequate space for the purpose.

The Directorate of e-governance, Government of Karnataka and Directorate of Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services have taken a joint initiative to provide various citizen-oriented services following which five MysoreOne centres have been established in different locations of the city.

Planning Director Sudhindra disclosed that if MUDA and MCC provided adequate space in the buildings of their various offices, more Mysore One service facilities will be created in all the Wards of the Corporation.
