In a bid to avoid wayward immersion of Ganesha idols by organisers of Ganesha festival, the Karnataka Pollution Control Board has decided to deploy three mobile vans for immersion of the idols on Sept.9 and 11.

Vehicle number one will be stationed near Metagalli Police Station from 4 pm to 5.15 pm before proceeding to K.D. Circle in Vijayanagar second stage where it will halt from 5.30 pm to 6.45 pm.

From there, the vehicle will arrive near Mathru Mandali near Chandramouleshwara temple in Vontikoppal and stay there from 7 pm to 8.15 pm before leaving towards the main gate of Kukkarahalli Lake and stay there from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm.

Vehicle number two will be kept for service near Vikram Hospital in Yadavagiri from 4 pm to 5.15 pm before reaching Shanthala Theatre Circle and stay there from 5.30 pm to 6.45 pm.

The vehicle will be available at Chamundipuram Circle from 7 pm to 8.15 pm before proceeding to Karanji Lake Main gate and stay there from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm.

Vehicle number three which will be stationed at Jayamma Govinde Gowda Choultry in Kuvempunagar from 4 pm to 5.15 pm will reach Jayanagar Railway Gate and remain there from 5.30 pm to 6.45 pm.

The same vehicle will be available near Gobbalimara bus stop in J.P. Nagar from 7 pm to 8.15 pm and will then reach the main gate of Lingabodi Lake via Srirampura and be there from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
