Looking at the overwhelming response for the convention of Booth- Level BJP workers in Krishnaraja constituency, I get a feeling that it is the Vijaya Yatra of BJP in the Krishnaraja constituency, said BJP Organising Secretary Santosh here today.
He was speaking after inaugurating a Booth-Level meeting of BJP workers at the grounds adjacent to Jayamma Govindegowda Choultry on Udayaravi road in Kuvempunagar here.
Stating that the workers of other political parties were indulging in destroying properties in their own party offices, Santosh proudly said that there was no such incidents in any BJP party offices in the State which demonstrated the unity and level of confidence among BJP workers.
Taking severe objections to the reported statements of MP Vishwanath and Leader of the Opposition Siddharamaiah that BJP was responsible for yesterday's bomb blast in Bangalore, he questioned, if the Congress party was responsible for the killing of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
If Siddharamaiah was really interested in the welfare of the State, he should have joined hands with the Government in resolving the issues instead of issuing irresponsible statements.
District In-Charge Minister S.A.Ramdas, in his address, said that 12,000 identified beneficiaries of the Innovative Housing Scheme would be given houses in two phases and added that funds have been granted to temples under Aradhana Yojana in the State.
MLC C.H. Vijayashankar, City BJP President Shivakumar, Corporators B.V. Manjunath, Shivakumar, Mahadevamma and Jagadish, former Corporators M.D.Parthasarathy, A.V.Vidya Urs and others were present.
