Mysore, Apr. 2 (KVV)- The Second Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) T. Gopalakrishna Rai yesterday took to task an auto driver, Umesh, 26, who reportedly misbehaved with the judge a few days ago.
It is learnt, Judge Gopalakrishna Rai was proceeding in his car near the Railway overbridge at K.G. Koppal 10 days ago. The auto driver Umesh, who came in his auto rickshaw (KA02-5107), tried to overtake the Judge's car by sounding the horn loudly.
During the melee, he accused the judge and even threatened him. The judge, however, tried to advise him but the auto driver continued to let his tongue loose. The judge later wrote down the registration number of the said auto before proceeding.
He later lodged a complaint in this regard with the Lakshmipuram Police, based on which Police arrested the auto driver. The accused appeared before the judge yesterday with folded hands and requested him to pardon him. The judge advised him to behave properly with others. He also warned him against committing such mistakes in future.
When some advocates enquired him about his whereabouts, Umesh told them that he is a native of Bommanayakanahalli in Hassan District and had come to city to earn his livelihood by plying auto rickshaw. The advocates also advised him to behave properly in future after which Umesh left the court premises.
