The District Administration and Dasara Special Committee will give a traditional farewell for the Dasara Elephants at the Palace premises tomorrow morning.

The elephants along with their mahouts and kavadis will be taken to their respective camps.

With a day left for their de parture, the Mahouts and Kavadis were seen giving a royal bath to the jumbos while their family members were seen washing their clothes and packing their belongings as their children had gone on a sightseeing trip.

The elephants will be offered puja at the Palace premises in the presence of District Incharge Minister V. Sreenivasa Prasad, MPs H. Vishwanath and R. Dhruvanarayan, MLAs M.K. Somashekar, Vasu and Tanveer Sait, Mayor Rajeshwari, Regional Commissioner M.V. Jayanthi, Deputy Commissioner C. Shikha, Assisant Commissioner Basavaraju and Tahsildar Naveen Joseph.

The elephants are expected to depart at 9.30 am tomorrow from the Palace premises.
