The Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry premises on Vinoba Road in city today was a beehive of hectic activities as the two-day ‘Loan Mela’ organised by Canara Bank got underway.

The feature of the two-day Mela is ‘home and car loans’ at attractive interest rates of 10.25% and 10.75% respectively which would be given to the consumers with quick processing. Interest on reducing balance, no penalty for pre-closure and 20-year repayment scheme are the other features.

While interest on home loans upto Rs. 3 lakh will be charged 10.25%, the loans between Rs. 30-75 lakh will be charged 10.30% while loans above Rs. 75 lakh will be charged at 10.5% interest per annum.

To get home loans one has to submit proof of identity, voter ID card, PAN card, income proof, salary certificates, all relevant documents relating to the property and bank transaction records of the past six months.

Those who wish to avail vehicle loans should submit a proforma invoice for the vehicle.

While Mandovi Motors, Inspire Honda and Vidathri Motors have put up various cars on show, developers like FN Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., GSS, Chamundi Township and others are displaying brochures relating to various bangalows and villas being promoted by them.
