The District Administration is gearing up for Ashada Fridays. The authorities have arranged 30 free KSRTC bus services to Chamundi Hill on all Ashada Fridays.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Ramegowda visited the Lalitha Mahal Helipad and examined the arrangements being made for the parking of private vehicles. He instructed the Mysore City Corporation (MCC) officials to construct temporary toilets and make drinking water arrangements to devotees at the parking lot.

Speaking on the occasion, Religious Endowment Department Tahasildar Yathiraj said that Rs. 17 lakh was being provided through Chamundeshwari Temple funds for KSRTC to provide free bus services for the devotees. Dr. Ramegowda also instructed Police officials to make arrangements for free and smooth traffic on Ashada Fridays.

Additional Regional Commissioner Chandregowda, Additional Deputy Commissioner Naganayak, MUDA Commissioner Dr. C.G. Betsurmath and MCC Commissioner P.G. Ramesh were present on the occasion.
