Over 50 members of Vivekananda Institute of Leadership Development (V-Lead) including students of several colleges took out a cycle rally from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple through Gandhi Square, Devaraj Urs Road, Railway Station, Irwin Road, Ashoka Road, and back to the starting point to spread awareness among people on necessity of voting to empower democracy.

The cyclists carried placards with messages like ‘My vote is not for sale’, ‘Vote fearlessly' and ‘Don’t vote for caste/religion'.

Launching the rally, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) Founder Dr. R. Balasubramaniam asked the voters to choose the right leader without giving weightage to caste or religion.
