The post-Dasara celebration scene in the city presented Mysore in an unwinding mode.

The tableaux, which were a hit with the lakhs of viewers of the Jumboo Savari, which had been moved to the APMC yard in Bandipalya on Mysore-Nanjangud Road were being carefully dismantled by workers of the respective agencies which created the showpieces.
The large number of folk artistes, most of whom had been sheltered in Nanjaraj Bahadur Choultry were also seen packing their baggage. Huge crowds were witnessed in Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple at Srirangapatna, Sri Chamundeshwari Temple atop the hill, Sri Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud as well as at many places of tourist importance such as the Mysore Palace, Mysore Zoo, Jaganmohan Palace Art Gallery, Brindavan Garden and others.
