“Management students keen on establishing a new business should attempt to work a bit beyond their capability,” opined Amit Grover, Founder, Nurture Talent Academy (NTA).

He was speaking as a resource person at a day-long workshop on ‘Business plan and entrepreneurship’ organised jointly by Bhavan’s Priyamvada Birla Institute of Management, Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, (BVB) Mysore, IIT Mumbai and Nurture Talent Academy at the BVB premises in Vijayanagar here yesterday.

Grover said that foraying into a new venture necessitated a creative and innovative approach. He advised budding entrepreneurs to be optimistic without allowing pessimistic thoughts to dampen the spirit. Citing an example of entrepreneurship skill, Grover said that Sachin Bansal who established the e-commerce Company Flipkart initially struggled as a courier boy despatching books to houses on order, and added that today, Bansal has employed about 5,000 courier boys with the company’s turnover touching Rs. 500 crore.
