The Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, celebrated “Engineer’s and Teacher’s” recently at MBCT auditorium in city.

The programme commenced with invocation by Sandhya Dinesh, member of Spoorthi, the Ladies wing of BAI. N.P. Vishwanath, Chairman, BAI, welcomed.

On the occasion, Er. K.V.S. Murthy, Civil Consultant and Structural Engineer, was honoured with “Engineer Par Excellence Award” for his yeoman service in the construction field and contribution to the Civil Engineering fraternity. S. Prakash, Past Chairman of BAI Mysore Centre, read the scroll of honour.

Er. V.S. Gajarajan, Retd. Professor of SJCE, was honoured with “Teacher Extraordinaire Award” for his dedicated service to the students’ fraternity. B.R.Badarinath, Past Chairman of BAI Mysore Centre read the scroll of honour.

Er. B.C. Basavaraj, Retd. Chief Engineer, was the chief guest. K. Subramani, National Vice- President, BAI and N.S. Muralidhara, State Chairman, BAI Karnataka, were the guests of honour.

The programme was compered by Latha Ramprasad, Member of Spoorthi and M.S.Ramprasad, Member BAI, Mysore Centre. S. Mahadevaswamy, Hon. Secretary, BAI, Mysore Centre, proposed a vote of thanks.
