The procession features dancers, musical bands from the State Police, folk dancers, decorated elephants, horses, camels, and colorful tableaux created by different State organizations.

Torchlight Parade (Panjina Kavayatthu)

The culminating program of the Dasara festivities is the Panjina Kavayatthu (torch-light parade) held grandly at the Bannimantap grounds. The event includes fireworks, daredevil stunts on motorcycles by the Indian army, and a laser show.
